Not every Grand Canyon day has to start before dawn. The slow mornings — the ones where you linger over a good meal before heading to a viewpoint — are some of the best. If you're looking for brunch near Grand Canyon South Rim, The Foodie Club in Tusayan serves a full morning menu with pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit bowls, egg dishes, pastries, and brunch cocktails. All just one mile from the park entrance.
The Brunch Plates
Pancakes — $12.99
Two fluffy buttermilk pancakes, made to order. Customize with:
- Chocolate chips (+$2.99)
- Strawberries (+$3.99)
- Flavor syrup — maple, vanilla, or seasonal (+$1.75)
The strawberry version is our most popular weekend order. The classic plain stack with real maple syrup is exactly right when you want something simple and satisfying.
French Toast — $13.99
Thick-cut bread, egg-dipped and griddled until golden. Served with syrup and butter. Add strawberries (+$3.99) or chocolate chips (+$2.99) to make it a full brunch showstopper. Pairs perfectly with a Mimosa from the bar.
Fruit Bowl — $10.99
A generous 16oz bowl of fresh mango, strawberries, and blueberries. Light, colorful, and ideal as a starter or a side alongside something heartier. One of the few brunch options near the South Rim that's actually fresh — not fruit cups from a can.
Parfait — $13.99
Vanilla yogurt layered with fresh strawberries, mango, blueberries, and granola. Refreshing and filling — a brunch staple for visitors who want something light but satisfying before a morning at the rim.
Breakfast Sandwich — $13.99
Egg, cheese, and your choice of protein (bacon, sausage, or ham) on a toasted English muffin or croissant. Solid, fast, and filling — the right move if you're heading to the park straight after eating.
Blueberry Muffins & Pastries
Fresh baked muffins available daily — blueberry, banana nut, and chocolate chunk. Perfect with a coffee if you want something quick and on the lighter side.
Brunch Cocktails
Brunch without a cocktail is just breakfast. We have a full bar open during brunch hours:
- Mimosa — $9.99 · Classic sparkling wine and OJ. Order by the glass or ask about the bottle option for the table.
- Bloody Mary — $10.99 · Our house-made mix with vodka, spiced and garnished. A brunch essential.
- Tequila Sunrise — $9.99 · Tequila, OJ, and grenadine. As photogenic as the South Rim at dawn.
- Bailey's Coffee — $9.99 · Espresso with Bailey's Irish Cream and steamed milk. Available during Happy Hour (3–6 PM and 9–10:30 PM).
Non-alcoholic options include fresh squeezed OJ ($8.99), strawberry lemonade, smoothies, and our full espresso bar. See the complete coffee menu here.
Best Time to Come for Brunch
Weekday mornings between 8 and 10 AM are the sweet spot — quieter, easier to park, and the kitchen is moving at full speed. On summer weekends the restaurant fills up between 9 and 11 AM. If you're planning a late start to the canyon day, arriving after 10:30 AM usually means the first wave of visitors has cleared out.
We serve our full morning menu until we transition to the all-day menu — so there's no hard brunch cutoff. The Fruit Bowl, Parfait, and pastries are available all day.
