Why It Belongs on a Grand Canyon Trip
Arizona's monsoon season runs roughly July through September — real thunderstorms build over the canyon most summer afternoons, usually right as the temperature peaks. That window lines up almost exactly with the start of our Happy Hour (3–6 PM), which makes a Michelada the natural order for anyone coming off the trail as the sky starts to change: something cold, salty, and substantial enough to count as recovery, not just a drink.
