You just hiked the rim. You've watched the sunset. Now the canyon's dark and the question is simple: where do you go for a real drink?
This Saturday June 20, the answer is The Foodie Club — because our bar comes alive at night. A live DJ takes over at 11 PM with an Open Format set, and the floor belongs to whoever shows up. Free entry. Full bar. Best drinks in Grand Canyon Village.
The Bar Lineup: What to Drink Tonight
This is not a "wine list and call it a night" situation. Our full bar is built for a night like this:
- Carajillo — $14.99 · Two espresso shots + Licor 43, served cold. Our most-ordered drink and the one that ends every great night at the canyon. Bold, smooth, and dangerously drinkable.
- House Margarita — $9.99 · Tequila, triple sec, sweet & sour. Available Mango, Strawberry or Banana (+$1). The classic, made right.
- Grand Canyon Mule — $14.99 · Vodka, lime, ginger beer in a proper copper mug. The cocktail that gets the night going.
- Tequila Sunrise — $9.99 · Tequila, OJ, grenadine. The color of the canyon at dusk, in a glass.
- Piña Colada — $15.99 · Rum, piña colada mix, whipped cream. Tropical energy at 7,000 feet.
- Mojito — $14.99 · Rum, mint, lime, club soda. Clean, cold, right.
- Draft Beer 16 oz · Grand Canyon Amber Ale or Colimita Lager — cold and local.
The full bar menu goes deeper: Sangria, Paloma, Michelada, Bloody Mary, AMF, Whirlwind. If you're not sure what to order, ask. We know how to read the room.
Pre-Party: Happy Hour 9–10:30 PM
The best move is arriving before the DJ starts. Our Happy Hour runs from 9 PM to 10:30 PM — right before 11. Get your first round at deal prices and you're already in the right mood by the time the music kicks in.
Happy Hour specials for the pre-party:
- Draft Beer 16 oz — $8.99 (Grand Canyon Amber or Colimita Lager)
- House Margarita — $9.99 (Mango, Strawberry or Banana +$1)
- Tequila Sunrise — $9.99
- French Fries — $3.50 with purchase of 6 Chicken Tenders · fuel for the night
Happy Hour also runs daily 3 PM to 6 PM if you want to start even earlier. Both sessions, every single day.
The DJ: Open Format, Your Crowd
Our Official DJ starts at 11:00 PM sharp with a full Open Format set. Open Format means the DJ reads the crowd and plays what works: pop, rock, Latin rhythms, electronic, classics — the night goes wherever the people take it. This isn't background music. It's a real set, and the floor responds.
- 11:00 PM — DJ takes the booth
- Free admission — no cover, no guest list
- Open Format — you choose the energy
- Walk-ins welcome · 400 AZ-64, Grand Canyon Village
Why the Bar at The Foodie Club
Most visitors to Grand Canyon don't realize there's a full bar one mile from the South Rim entrance. Not a hotel lobby with two overpriced beers. A real bar: 14 cocktails, two craft beers on draft, full wine list, and a staff that knows how to pour.
DJ Night is the reason to finally try it. Come for the music, stay for the Carajillo. You'll understand why it's the most-reviewed drink we serve.
Follow @foodieclubgc for live updates the night of the event.
