Finding vegetarian food near Grand Canyon can feel like searching for shade at noon on the South Rim — it exists, but you have to know where to look. Most restaurants in the Tusayan corridor lean heavy on burgers and steaks. At The Foodie Club, we actually have 10+ vegetarian-friendly items across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We're at 400 AZ-64, Tusayan, AZ 86023 — one mile from the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. Everything listed here is available all day.
Vegetarian Lunch & Dinner
Veggie Sandwich — $15.99
Avocado, grilled onions, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and Chilean sauce on toasted telera bread. Served with potato chips or house salad. This isn't an afterthought veggie option — it's a sandwich that meat-eaters order too. The combination of creamy avocado, melted pepper jack, and grilled onions on that telera bread is genuinely good.
Pesto Pasta — $16.99
Pasta tossed in house basil pesto with Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Substantial enough for dinner after a canyon hike, light enough for a warm summer evening. This is our most popular pasta option among vegetarian guests.
Southwest Salad — $14.99
Mixed greens with corn, black beans, cheese, tomatoes, and avocado with our house Southwest dressing. A proper meal salad — not a side dish pretending to be lunch. The Southwest dressing has just enough kick to make it interesting.
Mango Strawberry Salad — $14.99
Fresh mango and strawberry over mixed greens with walnuts, goat cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. The most refreshing thing on our menu — the kind of salad you crave when Arizona heat hits 95°F and you've been in the sun all day.
Vegetarian Breakfast
Sunrise Avocado Toast — $15.99
Smashed avocado on toasted sourdough with cherry tomatoes, microgreens, everything bagel seasoning, and a fried egg on top. Available starting at 6:30 AM. Read our full avocado toast guide.
Pancakes — $12.99
Three fluffy buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and whipped butter. Classic, simple, and exactly what you want on a slow canyon morning.
French Toast — $13.99
Thick-cut bread dipped in cinnamon-vanilla egg batter, griddled golden. Served with maple syrup and powdered sugar. Another strong vegetarian breakfast pick.
Yogurt Parfait — $8.99
Greek yogurt layered with granola and fresh seasonal fruit. Light, refreshing, and perfect before an early hike. We also have a Fresh Fruit Bowl ($7.99) for something even simpler.
Vegetarian Sides & Extras
- French Fries — $6.99 (or $3.50 during Happy Hour with Chicken Tenders)
- House Salad — available as a side with any sandwich
- Fresh Muffins — Banana Nut, Blueberry Cobbler, Chocolate Chunk, Cinnamon Walnut ($4.99 each)
Vegetarian Drinks
Beyond coffee and tea, our bar has vegetarian-friendly cocktails including Mimosas (prosecco & OJ), Paloma ($12.99), Sangria, and all our craft cocktails. Non-alcoholic options include fresh lemonade, horchata, and agua fresca.
Vegetarian food that doesn't compromise.
